Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who was as a captain and a participant for the Fierce Five team in 2012 as well as 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic Gymnastics team. Aly Raisman was a gymnast from the United USA who took gold in the 2012 Olympics. This meant that she was the very first American to compete at an Olympics who had the most number of medals. In 2016, she and her partner Gabby Doug were the first Americans to win back-to-back gold medals at team events. Additionally, she was awarded silver medals for the all-around competition as well as floor workouts. Between the two Olympics she took a break from competitive gymnastics for three years. She was also a part of the gold-winning American teams at 2 World Championships. Aly began gymnastics lessons when she was just two years old and is a fan of the floor workout. Aly is an active member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation to honor her mother, who passed away from cancer. Aly hopes to be fashion-forward and increase the range of her socks and leotards in the near future. Fierce is a new book she plans to release later in the year.
